Parklife 2020, Don’t Miss This!

Parklife is one of our favourite times of the year. It’s rare that a UK festival is so local and easy to get to, yet boasts a huge line up crossing the spectrum of music from renowned DJ’s and dance music to proper UK grime and even music from international artists too.

Parklife has grown from strength to strength over the past few years, starting out as a smaller party on Platt Fields Park in Fallowfield, the student hub of Manchester, before moving to its current home of Heaton Park.

The lineup for Parklife 2020 is set to be announced this evening (Tuesday the 28th of January) at 6pm, head to the website to find out more as the news drops:

What we know so far about Parklife 2020

Set in its usual home of Heaton Park, Manchester, Parklife returns for 2020 on Saturday the 13th of June and Sunday the 14th of June. Yeah, the closing night is a Sunday, so you should probably book Monday the 15th off work now whilst you still can!

We don’t know the full line up just yet; however, it has been confirmed that ex Oasis front man Liam Gallagher will be performing a special pre-Parklife gig at Heaton Park on Friday the 12th of June. This one will be a special one as Heaton Park is famously one of the last places that Oasis played together way back in 2009.

As for Parklife 2020 itself, two massive names have already been hinted at for the Saturday night, they are Tyler the Creator and JME two huge names on the international rap and hip-hop scene and two people you really don’t want to miss!

With Tyler the Creator, JME and Liam Gallagher (sort of) already on the bill, we are expecting tonight’s announcement to throw down a serious line up for the Parklife weekend.

Last year featured artists like Cardi B, George Ezra, The Streets, Nas, Chase & Status, Mark Ronson, Dave, Mabel, AJ Tracey, Loyle Carner, Skream, Richy Ahmed and so many more, therefore we can only expect this years line up to follow that trend of blending the hottest acts, with some of the world’s most up and coming superstars. Expect Grime, Techno, Rock, Drum & Bass, Hip Hop, Garage, Trance, Pop and more!

Parklife 2020 is going to be an awesome weekend, don’t miss it!
